"Kinetic Sclpture" lecture by
June 25, 2018
The variety of forms of expression in the twentieth century art can be an endless inspiration. During her first lecture Prof. Olga Baturina has talked about what can be considered the historical borderlines between the Classics, the Renaissance, and the New world.
Starting from the XX century, the world of art has changed and will never be the same again. It is the time when the personality of a sculptor as a person expressing his own artistic worldview became the main component in the birth of the new trends in art. Sculpture has left the pedestals and moved to the ground of direct communication with its audience.
On Saturday, 30.06.2018, Olga Baturina will continue the art talk. It will begin with a study of the creativity of representatives of Dadaism (Jean Arp and others) and then shift to the western hemisphere, acquiring primarily American focus.
