A graduate of Almaty Art College and Moscow State Art Institutenamed after V. Surikov, Askar Esenbaev, with his unique vision of life, opened a new world in the art of sculpture creation.
His works are different in genre, but they are united through their emotionality and deep experience of life and destiny of man.
Askar Esenbaev joined the art scene of Kazakhstan in the mid-1980s and immediately was discovered for his bright professional skill. His works are kept in many museums around the world, including the State Museum of Arts named after A. Kasteev, the State Tretyakov Gallery, as well as in private collections in the US, Italy, Germany, France and Russia. He created more than 150 works of sculpture, painting, graphics. But according to the master, his main work has yet to be created.
